My Journey: Overcoming Adversity Through Inclusion and Motivation
In 2014, I was diagnosed with Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS), a life-altering condition that left me reliant on a wheelchair. This diagnosis could have been the end of my active lifestyle and professional aspirations. Instead, it became the starting point for a new chapter of resilience and transformation.
I faced numerous challenges, but what propelled me forward was the motivation to redefine my limitations and the inclusive support from my community and colleagues. This combination enabled me to achieve feats I never thought possible, such as reaching Everest Base Camp on crutches and raising £250,000 for charity through various extreme challenges.
The Role of Inclusion in Workplace Motivation
