Course outline
This webinar will explore practical, creative and innovative strategies to make learning more inclusive, representative, and culturally responsive. This session will cover key topics such as integrating diverse voices and perspectives across subjects, designing engaging learning materials, and applying inclusive pedagogical frameworks. By the end of the webinar, participants will be equipped with practical tools to critically evaluate existing curricula, implement inclusive content, and foster a learning environment that reflects and respects a wide range of identities and experiences.
Learning outcomes:
- Identify key principles of curriculum diversification and recognize the importance of inclusive content in fostering equitable learning environments.
- Apply creative strategies to integrate diverse voices, perspectives, and cultural contexts into lesson plans and course materials.

Speaker:
Rebekah Hayward
Rebekah is an experienced Equity, Diversity and Inclusion consultant who has been working with IELA since April 2023 supporting, organisations and schools. She holds a Masters in Education: International Development and Social Justice and a CMI Level 7 Qualification in Strategic Approaches to EDI. She is the Co-Founder of ‘Increasing Black Representation’ a mentoring scheme for students and the Founder of ‘The Inclusion Edit’ an Inclusion consultancy. In her previous roles, Rebekah has worked in Ed Tech leading on EDI and business strategy. She has also worked with IESE leading EDI projects and developing EDI resources. Rebekah is a qualified Primary School Teacher with much experience as an EDI lead creating diverse curriculum content for schools, developing policy and creating meaningful, lasting change.
