Course outline

Join us for an insightful webinar on the Equality Act 2010, where lawyers from VWV will guide you through the key aspects of the legislation, as well as the concept of reasonable adjustments. They will then demonstrate how to put it into practice in our schools. This interactive session will delve into real legal case studies, offering practical solutions for promoting equality and preventing discrimination and implementing reasonable adjustment across various scenarios. Whether you are on SLT, a SENCO or inclusion lead, you will gain valuable knowledge on how to ensure compliance with the Equality Act, fostering an inclusive and legally sound school.

  • How to look at your school practices through a legal lens
  • Case studies and examples of SEND discrimination including how best to avoid it
